During July 19 - 20, 2005 Shanghai Reeves (SR)
held a successful Vulcan Distributors' Meeting in Sha Jia Bang Village, Changsu of Jiangsu Province. Mr. Glen A. Hussmann, president of SR, Mr. Cheng Kangying, ceo of SR, Mr. Zheng Jianmin, sales manager of SR and around 40 distributors from all over the country attended the meeting.
In the meeting the distributors learned more about Reeves Group, including Reeves Brothers, Inc., Reeves SpA and SR, they showed great interest in the development plan of Reeves and the high-tech in manufacturing Vulcan offset printing blankets and engineering fabrics. The meeting created a new type of relationship between dealers and manufacturer.
Mr. Glen A. Hussmann made a presentation in the meeting, "we are very pleased and honored to have you as our partners as we begin to grow our VULCAN brand printing blanket sales in mainland China."
"VULCAN is the most recognized brand of printing blankets in the world today. Reeves has been manufacturing printing blankets in the U.S. and Italy for over 40 years and we are very excited about our new manufacturing facility being built in Shanghai. Reeves also produces many specialty printing blankets such as metal backed, cylindrical and digital offset."
In addition to printing blankets, Mr. Glen A. Hussmann said, "Reeves also manufactures a wide variety of specialty coated engineered fabrics. We are largest producer of silicone coated automotive air restraint fabric in North America and we are the largest producers of urethane coated fabric used for emergency safety equipment on commercial aircraft in the world. We produce a large number of specialty rubber sheeted products used in fluid handling, inflatable marine, aerospace, military, medical, safety and many other industrial applications."
In the afternoon of June 20, the attendee visited the new facility and construction site in Gaodong of Pudong New Area.
